INFORMATION
Mr. Saunders is a general practitioner, who entered
the active practice of
law in 1979, and has been with the firm continually since that time. His
practice has concentrated in litigation support, with substantial experience
in the area of appeals. Mr. Saunders has appeared
before appellate courts on both the state and federal
level, resulting in a number of published opinions
and two listings in the American Law Reports Annotated.
He is a member
of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations, and the United States Court
of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Mr. Saunders graduated with distinction from Vanderbilt
University and earned his law degree at the University
of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He is active
in professional activities, serving as past chairman
of the Appellate Practice Section of the Louisville
Bar Association, as well as
non-professional activities, including the Louisville Scottish Country Dance
Society. He devotes substantial time to the Kentucky Scottish Weekend, a
festival celebrating the culture of Scotland. His other interests include the
past,
present and future of North American Railroading, astronomy, gardening, travel,
photography, American history, and natural wonders of the world.
