| IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Mr. Lobb has practiced primarily in the field of real
estate law, including real property development, lending,
closings, subdivisions and condominium law, for nearly
25 years. His practice also includes, and he is experienced
in, tax-deferred real property exchanges, environmental
law and business law. He is the author of the Business
Organization Chapters of Kentucky Methods of Practice
(1991-1998). In 2003 he authored the University of Kentucky’s
Boundary Law In Kentucky training materials
for Kentucky lawyers. He is a frequent instructor at
seminars, dealing extensively with boundary, survey,
easements, and adverse possession law, as well as title
search, title insurance, and tax deferred real property
exchange practices and issues. He has spoken frequently
at legal seminars involving real estate and tax-deferred
exchange issues. Kentucky Monthly recently named Mr.
Lobb as a 2007 Kentucky Superlawyer in the
practice of real estate law. In addition, Chambers USA
recently listed Mr. Lobb among the small handful of
attorneys who the Kentucky real estate marketplace considers
the leading real estate practitioners in Kentucky. Finally,
Chambers USA identified Weber and Rose, whose real estate
department Mr. Lobb started, as the only midsize Kentucky
law firm possessing a real estate practice to compare
with the larger, regional law firms practicing in Kentucky.
Mr. Lobb graduated with high distinction from the Honors
Program at the University of Kentucky in 1979 and earned
his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1982.
He is admitted to practice in the United States Courts
of Appeals for the Fifth and Sixth Circuits and in both
of Kentucky’s federal district courts. He is a
member of the Louisville Bar Associate, where he served
as chairman of the Real Estate and Land Use Section
in 1997. He is also a member of the Kentucky and American
Bar Associations, and belongs to the Kentucky Chapter
of the Certified Commercial Investors Members (CCIM).
