Mr. Draut joined Weber & Rose in 1980. He practices mainly in the area of insurance defense, which includes the areas of personal injury law, product liability, premises liability, hospital medical negligence claims, motor vehicle dealer liability, corporate or institutional wrongful discharge, slander and libel, insurance coverage issues, insurance bad faith and errors and omissions claims, workers’ compensation and representation in state insurance regulatory matters. Mr. Draut also accepts representation of plaintiffs in a select number of personal injury cases.

Mr. Draut is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville in 1979. He is a member of the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations and the Kentucky Defense Counsel, and is admitted to practice in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and in Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.

Mr. Draut’s interests and personal activities include boating, camping, fishing and golfing. He is actively involved with one of the Little League Baseball organizations in the Louisville, Kentucky area and is a member of three philanthropic organizations.
