James Lobb has been practicing real estate law for nearly 29 years, primarily in the areas of real estate development, lending, closings, subdivision and condominium development, and real estate tax deferred exchanges. His practice also includes environmental law and business law. He is a frequent lecturer at business and legal seminars, dealing extensively with boundary issues, surveys, easements, and adverse possession law, as well as title search, title insurance, real estate tax deferred exchanges, and other real estate topics.
Mr. Lobb has been integrally involved in a number of major regional real estate development projects, including large retail developments, medical facilities, office complexes, and other business ventures.
Mr. Lobb started the Weber and Rose real estate department. The Weber and Rose real estate department is one of a select few in Kentucky recognized by Chambers USA.
Mr. Lobb has served in leadership roles in many community organizations over the years. He was recently elected Chairman of the Kentucky State Parks Foundation, which gives him a good excuse to visit all the Kentucky state parks with his wife and two children.
Mr. Lobb likes to hike, camp, raft and kayak. He also collects antique Sheaffer fountain pens.
