Darryl Durham has experience in all facets of health law, including creation of health maintenance organizations, representation of long-term care facilities, and representation of healthcare providers before administrative boards. Mr. Durham has also represented clients in ERISA actions involving healthcare plans, and in the past has served as a Medicare Part B hearing officer and provided representation before the Provider Reimbursement Review Board.
Mr. Durham spends the majority of his time in matters involving business litigation and health insurance claims litigation defense, in which he has more than 30 years of experience. He has tried cases in state courts throughout Kentucky and the federal courts, and has handled appeals in both the Fourth and Sixth Circuits and appellate courts in Kentucky, Indiana, and Maryland. He has handled arbitrations on construction matters, employment matters, and stock brokerage cases. In addition, Mr. Durham provides general counsel to a variety of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as to individuals on topics ranging from employment issues to the defense of class action suits regarding employee benefits.
Mr. Durham has served as an arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum, and was unanimously elected as the first chairman of the Executive Committee of Weber & Rose, PSC and continues to serve in that capacity.
In his free time, Mr. Durham is an avid golfer.
